Kuveidi ajalugu

See artikkel käsitleb Kuveidi ajalugu. Kuveit on Lääne-Aasias Pärsia lahe põhjaotsas asuv iseseisev riik. Kuveidi alad on piirkonnas strateegiliselt tähtsad ning inimesed on seal elanud alates vanaajast.[1][2][3] Kaheksa- ja üheksateistkümnendal sajandil oli Kuveit õitsev sadamalinn ning Pärsia lahe põhjaosa tähtsaim sadam.[4][5][6] Lähiajalukku on Kuveit läinud tänu aastatel 1990–1991 toimunud lahesõjale.
